First Look @ Canvas!

The Dashboard Links to an external site.is your main area to access courses, view To Dos, and review up-coming activities and assessments.

• Course Cards - Canvas courses are represented with Course Cards. Click a Course Card to access your course. 
• Not seeing your course? - If you don't find your course on your Dashboard, choose Courses from the Canvas navigation. It is possible that the course is listed in Future or Past terms on that page, or it may be unpublished while the instructor is preparing course materials.
• To Do - Review activities and assignments that require your attention across all Canvas courses.

Customize your Canvas experience!

As you get started, consider the following options to customize your Canvas experience! Add a Profile picture, select personal Pronouns, set Favorite courses (for your Dashboard), and customize Notification settings.

• Edit your profile Links to an external site.

• Set favorite courses Links to an external site.
• Customize notifications* Links to an external site.
  *Notifications are customizable; however, it's best to keep Notify immediately set for Announcements and Conversations, so you'll stay in the know about important class events, activities, and updates.
